Frank has over 20 years’ experience in the field of Graphic Design and Art Direction. He is experienced in taking projects from conception through completion utilizing his creativity, production and management skills. He loves the creative process and is good at expanding on ideas and moving them forward. Frank has the ability to pinpoint his clients’ needs using intelligence, beauty or humor to spark their audience’s imagination with good design. As Creative Director at indie label Capricorn Records he garnered notoriety within the industry for changing the perception of Capricorn through compelling visuals and campaigns. Over the years he has worked with many well known designers such as Tibor Kalman and Helene Silverman, as well as, clients like Interview Magazine, Vosges Haut Chocolate, MTV and the band Everything But The Girl, to name a few. A highlight of his career was developing the logo and album package for Red Hot + Blue, a compilation of Cole Porter songs interpreted by contemporary artists. Both revolutionary and a commercial success worldwide, its proceeds benefited the education and prevention of HIV/AIDS. The diversity of Frank’s work experience helps him move with ease from print to motion graphics, brand identity to publications, and packaging to website design. He is known to be detail oriented and possesses strong communication skills that help him meet both deadlines and budgets. His work has been showcased in American Illustration, Communication Arts, Print and Eye magazine, and has been recognized for excellence by the AIGA and the American Center of Design.
