George "Shadow" Morton (b. September 3, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia, USA; d. February 14, 2013 in Laguna Beach, California) was an American record producer and songwriter best known for his work in the 1960's and the introduction of girl group The Shangri-Las to the pop music world.
