He started his professional career, touring with Brothers Johnson and then with Quincy Jones band for the "Dude" tour.
His studio session work includes artists Rickie Lee Jones, David Sanborn, Anita Baker, George Duke, Bonnie Raitt and Soul Ii Soul.
In 1997 he released his solo debut album "Blue Patches". Two more albums followed till 2005.
