Juan Carlos "Tato" Gómez is a guitar and bass player born in Chile in 1953, member of Embrujo. He went to Spain and founded Santiago with Carlos Narea and Mario Argandoña, with whom he won the 1979 German Record Prize.
Later he would play as session man (Miguel Rios, Rosendo...) and would become producer of both Spanish (Ríos, Luz Casal...) and German bands, as Rainhard Fendrich's "Macho Macho" in 1988, with which he received a platinum and gold records.
Gomez also has international success with his "Baby Music" (Happy Baby series) and with the collection of relaxing music under the title "Art of Living". As a singer-songwriter, he leads the band "Tato Gomez & Friends".
